Women’s Wear Designer

We are looking for Designer with 5+ yrs experience in designing women wear ( Knitted fabric) for Head Office in Kolkata

• • Managing Women wear design process from conception through to final styling. Draw, design, and develop new all-over Prints and accessory samples, and create and turn in documentation worksheets.
  • Conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques, and seeking design inspiration.
  • Participate in meetings to discuss designs and line development, and present and review lines and concepts regularly.
  • Supervise patterns that is cut and sewn into sample garments and supervise making these including fitting, detailing, and adaptations.
  • Selecting fabrics and trims, and collaborating with the team to ensure development packages are accurate.
  • Reviewing product for style and fit during presentation.
  • Presenting story, mood, and color boards.

Requirements and skills

Bachelor’s degree in design or fine arts, or college degree in fashion design or related field, .

Proficient with Adobe Illustrator, Corel Draw, and Photoshop/ Proficiency in computer-aided fashion design applications and digital visualization tools & Microsoft Office.

Excellent attention to detail, Excellent design and conceptual skills, and Excellent sense of style and color.
